A Visit to ISKON (Day 2:13th aug 05:My Tour Days)

By 5:30 PM, We started to ISKON temple to have dharshan of lord krishna. It was really beautiful. The temple was built in white marbles which is a treat to watch. Everything was scriptured in Artisitic style. Even the lord Shree Krishna & Radha's Idol. It was done with excellency in art. Dont have words to describe such scintillating beauty. The inside hall of the temple is in the form of dome where the inner parts of it were decorated with Lord Krishna's paintings of his childhood. It was around 40 feet high. The temple was built by Acharya Prabhu Pada. His Idol was placed at a corner as a token of his memory. There we had food stalls down the temple. All kinds of varieties present in it. Apart from this there was a shopping stall maintaining collection of books and photos of Lord Krishna. Anil and I had a dharshan first then we came to food stalls and ate some fruit salads and Pakodis, later on we waited for our friends at slipper stand, meanwhile I met a German. his name is 'Tulvich'. He was a professor doing research on Hinduism. He came along with his students. We had a chat for some time. It was around 9 PM we came back from ISKON. Due to the lack of time Viswesaraya Museum was Cancelled. We prepared to leave for Kodai. Everybody expected that all our classmates will be given one bus but to my surprise, boys and girls were alloted seperate buses. Hangama started and the girls bus left soon at 11:00 PM, but we had to start at 1o clock as there was a big discussion with HOD for allowing boys and girls to seat in one bus. Meanwhile we had a good time at the Youth hostel before we left. Tikkler started cacking jokes and made a hilarious comedy, everyone laughed for his jokes. Then the bus started at 1AM. As soon as bus started every one went into deep sleep as the whole day made tiresome....!

College is a great teacher which packs the entire life and puts before us in a nutshell. In fact we learn a lot from it,we share, we care, we fight, and gel together and put forth our efforts for the future. Starting from the ragging to the farewell party its been a wonderful journey where lot of wonderful moments capture in our memory. One such happy moment brings the reminiscence of my college days which I will cherish for a long time. I want to share my happy moments with you. one of the best moments from my college are the tour days.
It was a fine day we started for an IT tour. it was planned to visit,Bangalore,Ooty,Mysore, Kodai. After a week long discussion it was finally scheduled from 12th -22nd Aug 2005. Right to Education

The Right to Education bill has passed and it is one of the significant legislation's initiated by the UPA government over 62 years of independence. Thanks to the HRD Minister Kapil Sibal for his educational reforms. It s really a welcome note and makes us proud that India has taken such a commendable initiative. Irrespective of Caste, Creed and religion every children will have access to the elementary education.

Providing free education for the children under the age group 6-14 is a noble move. Through this law at least we can prevent the child labour. The literacy rate of the country would surely going to increase with this move.It is the responsibility of every right thinking citizen to motivate and encourage the parents who does not want to provide education for their children. Movies like Samba highlights the point that "A million er cannot create another million er but a graduate can create 100 graduates".

Being the most populated country second to the china, it would be an arduous task to implement the right to education. Irrespective of the family income of the parents this does not affect the child education. There is a famous quote given by Nelson Mandela "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". Education enables us to learn the necessary skills, moral values and attitude that will make us a responsible person and it is the key to progress and empowers the nation.

Hope a day will come where everybody in the country will get the basic education and makes India's position strong globally.

Living Together

The Supreme Court Judgment on the live-in relationship and pre-marital sex, comes as a Jolt. There may not be a law to prohibit pre-martial sex, but it is largely accepted and practised norm in India. In a country like India which is rich for its culture and heritage and got a prominent value for the marriage and the relation bonding, Stating an opinion like this will send wrong signals to young men and women. It not only obscure certain basic moral values but also expose young people to erroneous ideas about pre-martial sex. Films and media has a large effect on this, Movies like Salaam Namaste which elevates the live-in relationships among the urban crowd pays a way to more. When westren countries shows high esteem for India's ethical values, it is unfortunate that it is degraded more with the concept of modernisation. The judges atleast should have mentioned moral values that Indian culture upheld just for the sake of ethical concern for the society's welfare.

WILL POWER

Over the decades we have been listening to so many success stories and watching people accomplisning greater tasks and setting themselves as role models, have we ever given thought of what must be the driving force behind them, it is not because of the opportunities they had, or the circumstances that made..it is the Will Power that generated in the subconscious mind which brings the people to conscious of using their strength and power to conquer the things..!

Will Power ironically digging our way out of the snow, It is the capability of a person to inhibit his inabilities and exhibit his abilities to win laurels.Infact it was the driving force behind every success. There was a long list of people who worked hard n turned dusk to the dawns.

Hellen Adam Keller, the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree, Stephen Hawking a Theoritical physicist inspite of dystrophy( condition of complete paralysis) gave the theory of the black hole and Cosmology, Sudha Chandran became good dancer even after losing one leg, Beethoven who became deaf at very young age continued to create beautiful music which still soothes the ear of music lovers with his symphonies. And the list goes on..!

Mathematically proved when two negatives combine gives positive symbol..! Like all odds can be converted into pleasant evenings(Even). it is whom we say challenged who lacks confidence inspite of having all the qualities to do and not the persons with physical ailments.

So let us say ...our Motto.. "" Will Power..! We will Do it.."" ..!!!

ALL IZZZ WELL...!!!!

Once upon a time, there lived a minister in a Kingdom who has this strong Positive Attitude. Whatever happens he says " its for our good", When something bad happened to the country, he says its for good, when the king's son was hurt, he says its for good. The King was very much annoyed with this nature, so he decided to teach the minister a lesson and soon prisoned him in Jail for few days. After his release, the king asked him whether he has changed his view, but the minister said " Its for his good", hearing this the king became furious and ordered the ministers finger to be cut-off. He accepted the punishment happily. After some days one fine day when the king and the minister were hunting in the forest, they were caught by the tribals and were about to sacrifice their lives as a wish of Godess. So the tribals wanted to check whether the people were fit enough to kill. They noticed that the minister had a miss finger and he was left unhurt and they took the Kings Life.

The Moral was What ever happens it happens for our good and we have to accept it happily, be +ve..! AALLL IZZ WELL>.! :)
